There are 4 ways to get in the program:

1.  All Inclusive E-Training for $999.00. Books, equipment, support  (more than one tech is $199.00 extra per tech)

2.  Salvage Yard Training on the internet & Qualification Program $599.00 No equipment. (more than one tech is $199.00 extra per tech)

3.  Salvage Yard Training at your site & Qualification Program $2,500 and up depending on your location, dates.  

4   Already Trained by ACDC and now you want to join the program. $299.00 first tech, $199.00 for each extra tech.

This program is great for people who are starting from scratch as far as working with Hybrids, 

Those who need training as well as the equipment to do the work safely

Includes:

Our 2011 Dismantler's Color Guide and DVD's (List is $149.95), Laminated Salvage Yard Safety Card, 4 hours of web training, testing, listing on ACDC website for 2 years, 2 years of Tech support from Craig Van Batenburg, Color certificates to display in your lobby, High Voltage Safety Kit which includes High Voltage gloves, Leather protectors, goggles, safety sign/bag, and carry bag, BOSCH MMD 540H Hybrid Multimeter or Equivalent, Car Safety Label Kit which includes 50 orange safety cards "HYBRID DANGER...HIGH VOLTAGE SYSTEM...DO NOT HANDLE", 50 orange safety cards "HYBRID IS SAFE TO DISMANTLE" 3 orange signs "HIGH VOLTAGE PARTS STORED HERE., ONLY QUALIFIED EMPLOYEES MAY ENTER"

Register more than one dismantler! Each additional is $199 (usually $299.00). This includes training, testing, certificates, and a B/W copy of the 2011 Dismantler's Guide no DVD's.

What do I have to do?

 Step #1  Pick one or more of your best dismantlers and get them trained by ACDC.  It is a Web based classroom (1 hour per day 4 days, 4 hours total) live with Craig as your instructor.  Click Here to view our schedule and find our next web training!  You may also choose to have Craig come to your facility for in person training at an additional fee. Next Internet Classes are August 3,10,17, and 24 at 2pm EST. 1 hour long each.

Step #2  After the training pass a 20 question QUIZ (pass at70% or better)

Step #3  Make a secure, cooled room for storage of HV parts to be sold. Have orange safety signs for cars. (explained in class why and what parts)

Step #4  Once all above is complete, ACDC will offer FREE Tech support and list you on our website for two years. After two years if you want to stay in the program you will be required to re-test your tech, buy a new workbook (updated every year).  Cost is 199.00 for two more years.

#2 Salvage Yard Training & Qualification Program!

This program is great for those who already have safety and electrical equipment. 

If you would like training and support both technical and marketing for getting into doing more hybrid business, this is the program for you!

Includes:

Register more than one dismantler! Each additional is $199.  This includes training, testing, certificates, and a B/W copy of the 2011 Dismantler's Guide no DVD's.

What do I have to do?

Step #3  Show us proof that you have safety equipment (HV signs, Car HV warning labels, High Voltage Glove Kit and Cat III meter), if you do not have this equipment, consider the "All Inclusive" Program above.  It has everything you need!

Step #4  Make a secure, cooled room for storage of HV parts to be sold

Step #5  Once all above is complete, ACDC will offer FREE Tech support and list you on our website for two years. After two years if you want to stay in the program you will be required to re-test your tech, buy a new workbook (updated every year).  Cost is $199.00 for two more years.

FEE:  $599.00 includes our 2011 Dismantler's Color Guide and DVD's (List is $239.95), Laminated Safety Card, 4 hours of web training, testing, listing on ACDC website for 2 years, Color certificates to display in your lobby!  Register more than one dismantler!  Each additional is $199.  This includes training, testing, certificates, and a B/W copy of the 2011 Dismantler's Guide no DVD's.

#3 Training at Your Site (RI, MA, CT, VT, NH, ME)

Hybrid Training on site at your location requires the following:  Outside of  New England call Craig)

What you need to do: A suitable place with tables, chairs, drinks, snacks, electrical outlet, (limited sunlight..hard to see screen), two hybrids cars to dismantle, tools and no more than 8 students. If you do not own HV Gloves and CAT III meter ACDC will sell you what you need ahead of time and bring it with us to your site the day of the class.

What ACDC will do: ACDC will provide a hybrid car (in one piece. I will drive there), screen, laptop, hybrid parts, workbooks, pens, pre and post test. Listing on ACDC website for 2 years, 2 years of Tech support from Craig Van Batenburg, Color certificates to display in your lobby

About the Class: The class is 4 hours in length. Workbooks are up to date 2011. Black and White or color. 50% classroom, 50% on the car. 

Cost: $2,500 plus workbooks (B/W) at 25.00 each. Travel may be free (depends on date and location) 

After Class is Over you will be a Qualified Salvage Yard when the items below are completed:

#4 Joining the Program after ACDC Training

After you have been trained by ACDC you will be a Qualified Salvage Yard when the items below are completed:

Step #1  After the training pass a 20 question QUIZ (get 70% or better)

Step #2  Show us proof that you have safety equipment (HV signs, Car HV warning labels, High Voltage Glove Kit and Cat III meter), if you do not have this equipment, you can but it from ACDC. We stock it all.

Step #3  Make a secure, cooled room for storage of HV parts to be sold.

Step #4  Own a copy of our latest Dismantler's Hybrid Guide (DVD are not required but recommended)

Step #4  Once all above is complete, ACDC will offer FREE Tech support and list you on our website for two years  for $299.00. After two years if you want to stay in the program you will be required to re-test your tech, buy a new workbook (updated every year).  Cost is $199.00 for two more years. Once all above is complete you are in.
