 2001 Silver 5 speed Insight: (two, one Silver, one Red)
On lift, show all parts that are visible (tour) and then start Insight and have each tech sit in car and look at dash readouts. Stress FCB button. Shut off car; hook up Pocket Tester look at PIDS. Remove Cover to IPU and show how to remove parts, Test for HV with DVOM. Use other Insight parts removed from the ACDC silver roll over. Explain Vtec, remove Valve Cover, and explain valve clearance adjustment. Put car back together. Show IMA ECU fuse removal trick. Explain about owners, tire pressure, fender skirts. Drive car, swap drivers 2x. Explain idle re learn and more.

 2003 Civic CVT:
On lift, show all parts that are visible (tour) and then start Civic and have each tech sit in car and look at dash readouts. Stress dash controls. Shut off car; hook up Laptop Honda Tester and look at PIDS. Remove back seat and IPU cover and remove parts HV parts. Test for HV with DVOM. Explain Vtec, (cylinder pause system by removing Valve Cover, explain valve clearance adjustment. Put car back together. Show IMA ECU fuse removal trick. We also have a CVT that is torn down for your technical training. Explain about owners, tire pressure, oil change issues. Drive car, swap drivers 2x and a lot more.

 2001 Prius CVT:
On lift, show all parts that are visible (tour) and then start Prius and have each tech sit in car and look at dash readouts. Stress dash controls. Shut off car; hook up Mastertech Tester look at PIDS. Shut off; remove service plug and some of rear area. Remove HV battery pack and explain how to test each NiMH module. Test for HV with DVOM. Explain how to rebuild a battery pack (ACDC has a spare) and explain an ACDC way of charging a dead HV pack. Remove MG2 and MG1 in extra CVT. Partially remove Inverter and explain best way to remove 12v inverter water pump, inverter, etc. Show spare inverter. Drain and refill Inverter coolant using air lift. Put car back together. Lots of road test, scan tool and scope time. Drive car, swap drivers 2x.

 2004 Prius CVT:
On lift, show all parts that are visible (tour) and then start Prius and have each tech sit in car and look at dash readouts. Explain Smart Key and key Shut off. Shut off car; hook up EASE Tester and Mastertech scanners, look at PIDS. Shut off; remove service plug and some of rear area. We will explain how to remove HV parts. ACDC has a spare HV Battery. Test for HV with DVOM. Remove front bumper show Hot Water Bottle. Drain it and coolant and refill using Air Lift. Partially remove Inverter and explain best way to remove 12 pump, inverter, etc. Show spare inverter/ stress Electric A/C system. Put car back together. Explain about owners, tire pressure, oil change issues. Drive car, swap drivers 2x. Give out many service tips.

 2005 Ford Escape Hybrid
It was added to our fleet starting in March of 2007. This SUV is very popular with fleets as well as consumers. We will scan, swap out the battery pack, re charge the HV battery, drive, and get very familiar with Fords offering. ACDC owns an extra HV battery so Ford hybrids will not be a problem for you when you return back to work. Show Ford Escape HV battery pack and explain R & R, remove cover. Use a factory scanner, explain proper diagnostics, brake issues, and a lot more. Ford also makes this in the Mercury and Mazda brands.
